The actor Tenoch Huerta has been talked about a lot since he was the key to ending prejudice in Mexico, normally in our country there is a preference for people with fair complexion, an example of this are the Castinger who tend to primarily seek talent with an international outlook, leaving talent with Mexican characteristics far below, so there are clearly more opportunities in the industry for foreigners.
In Mexico, six out of ten Mexicans are brown. 15% of people felt that their rights were not respected because of their skin color, according to the National Discrimination Survey (ENADIS).
For this reason, some Mexicans are proud that the actor is from Ecatepec de Morelos, despite the difficulties and risks that this place represents, Tenoch managed to surpass himself and access the production of the world of Marvel Studios.
The movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been well received by the public, since its release it has accumulated $409.8 million in North America alone, its budget was around $250 million, it has led the box office despite the fact that an 11 million drop was detected in a weekend when theaters were not full.
Wakanda Forever is the sequel to 2018’s “Black Panther,” which starred Chadwick Boseman, who sadly died of cancer in 2020 at the age of 43.

The case of Tenoch Huerta has some similarity to that of Yalitza Aparicio, since both have achieved great things in cinema, highlighting Mexico, although having been criticized mainly for their complexion, racism continues to exist in the Mexico, in addition to certain prejudices, therefore represents a cancer that must be eradicated from the country, so that instead of underestimating it because of certain physical characteristics, it seeks to promote and support the talent of Mexicans who show that they have a lot to offer in Mexico and around the world.
