Nat Geo Live with Maureen Beck | Manship Theater
Manship Theater, 100 Lafayette St., is hosting an event highlighting the story of Maureen Beck, a professional climber who learned to climb with one hand. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $35 plus fees.
Wednesday January 18
Astronomy at the rendezvous | University theater
This event will take place at the Varsity Theatre, 3353 Highland Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m. Ron Pagano and Eric Borowski will speak at the event. The event will include space-themed games, raffles and drinks.
Thursday January 19
Involvement Party | student union
Attending practice, practicing, passing classes and beating Alabama is a busy schedule. LSU offensive linemen do while eating enough food…
Come and get more involved with all that LSU has to offer. Representatives from clubs and student organizations will be present at the event to help you get involved on campus. This event is located outside of the LSU Student Union. The time will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Little River Band | The Inn Casino & Hotel
Come and listen to live music at L’Auberge Casino & Hotel, 777, avenue L’Auberge, by Little River Band. Ticket prices are $35 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. The show starts at 8 p.m.
Dance Marathon Gala | Marriott Baton Rouge
Dance Marathon at LSU is hosting a gala, Winter Wonderland, from 7-11 p.m. This event will take place at the Baton Rouge Marriott, 5500 Hilton Ave. There will be a dinner, a silent auction and games. Ticket sales will end on January 17 and prices vary. Buy your tickets at dmatlsu.org.
Sunday January 22
The boys of the group | Baton Rouge Theater
Theater Baton Rouge, 7155 Flordia Blvd., Presents a performance of the Broadway show “The Boys in the Band.” The Sunday performance begins at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at theatrebr.org. Tickets are $30 for adults and $25 for students.
