A week after his disappearance and there is still no sign that Aviemore man Rodrigo Falcon is missing despite extensive searches.

Friends have posted a map of his last known movements in the early hours of Sunday after leaving The Vault nightclub in the center of the village.

The map was created by friend Sud Cj and shared on social media.

She posted: “We’ve put Rod’s last known sightings on CCTV with the times on a map in case it helps jog anyone’s memory if you’re in the area.

“The last CCTV was across the road from the Premier Inn, and the last person sighting was at the Kinakyle Cliffs (lit wall) on the A9 southbound.

“His footprints in the snow then descend and cross the field on the south side of the junction (B9152/A9 – the Lynwilg Junction) where they then stop.”

She added: “There’s no way he’s traveled this distance without being seen by more people and dash cams.”

One hope is that motorists living outside the area who were traveling on the A9 and B9152 at the time of Mr Falcon’s disappearance can show more dash cam footage if they answer the call.

More than 100 friends, local business workers and supporters have come out every day to help police, dog handlers and mountain rescue teams since Mr Falcon disappeared.

The search focused on the southern end of the Aviemore and Lynwilg area.

Rodrigo Falcon has not been seen for a week after disappearing in the early hours of last Sunday.

The 33-year-old had gone out with his good friend Scott Fleming the night he disappeared.

Mr Fleming posted yesterday: “We’ve been out all day tracing anywhere we think we might have walked. The police and other services are still looking and we won’t let you down bro.

“Again as always if you have any information please advise Police Scotland if it is urgent call 999 or if sighting is not urgent but possible call 101.

“Thank you again to our amazing community who came together like never before.

“It says a lot about how much Rod is loved by everyone here and all we want is for him to come home with us.”
