Matt Damon tells the wild story of George Clooney in a speech

The 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors may not air until December 28 on CBS, but E ! News shared a teaser of the event, which included a bit of Matt Damonhis close friend’s speech George Clooney.

During the speech, Damon recounted a time when Clooney used a cat’s litter box to play a prank, and the story is as crazy as you’d expect.

In the teaser, Damon began, “My friend George Clooney has been said to be the last of the real movie stars, so I had to think about what exactly that meant. Of course, a number of past winners of the Kennedy Center were certainly movie stars in that classic sense. Actors with class and sophistication—Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck.”

“And then I think of George,” Damon continued, “a man who defecated in Richard Kindthe cat litter box as a joke.”

Richard Kind is an extremely talented film and voice actor with roles in projects like Argo and Upside down. More recently it appeared in Netflix The Observerand you can hear him voice Al Tuttle in American Dad!

But before all that, Kind was Clooney’s roommate, and the Kennedy Center winner is known for being an intense prankster.

In March of last year, Clooney was a guest on the podcast SmartLess hosted by jason batman, Sean Hayes and Arnettand he revealed the whole story behind the litter incident.
