Kerry Washington kills Paris Fashion Week in Neon Ensemble
Kerry Washington made its mark on Fashion Week with lots of texture and high contrast.
The 45-year-old actress stepped out on Thursday (January 26) for the Fendi Spring 2023 show in Paris, and she wasn’t afraid to make some bold choices with her monochromatic neon look.
The Scandal The star shared her look with her millions of followers on Instagram, where she struck several poses on a staircase inside the French city’s famous Louvre museum. “Crazy Louvre, thank you @fendi #FendiCouture π” Washington captioned the post.

Washington was pictured rocking a fuzzy bright green knit sweater with a high-waisted green satin midi skirt that incorporated a thigh-high slit on her left leg. The actress went one step further, accessorizing with black Fendi tights, a pair of black pumps, chunky earrings and a green mini bag to match her ensemble.
As for her glam, Washington kept it simple, wearing her hair straight and incorporating soft makeup with a standout lip color lined with a purple-brown color.

As for what followed from Washington, it was announced earlier this month that the actress will produce and star in Tyler Perrythe next Netflix movie, Six Triple Eight. Other celebrities reportedly working on the film include Oprah Winfrey and Sam Waterstonthrough The Hollywood Reporter.
The film follows the true story of the only all-black, all-female 6888th Battalion of World War II who entered the war effort with little knowledge of their role. The 855 women were tasked with sorting through and repairing a three-year backlog of undelivered mail, a task many thought impossible. The women succeeded in their mission and sorted more than 17 million pieces of mail, reconnecting American soldiers with their families and loved ones back home.
The story of the 6888th Postal Directory Battalion was kept out of the spotlight until recently, March 14, 2022, when President Joe Biden signed a bill for women to receive Congress’s highest honor – the Congressional Gold Medal.
Six Triple Eight is currently in production and the release date has not yet been announced.
