Five-time Emmy winner Jean Smart got excited for the Los Angeles premiere of her film Babylon, held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Thursday.

The 71-year-old Seattle native slipped her 5ft 9in figure into a black boat neck dress with richly embroidered long sleeves and matching kitten heels topped with rhinestone bows selected by stylist Micah Schifman.

Hairstylist Robert Vetica styled Jean’s mid-length blonde locks for the film’s festivities.

Makeup artist Keith Sayer defined Smart’s brows, applied lashes to her baby blues, and gave her a rosy pout/cheeks.

“Acting is what I love to do, and people keep offering me jobs, so it seems like it would be silly to say no,” the Golden Globe winner told W Magazine in May.
