Shields said she will face Marshall in the United States and means it!

Former WBO middleweight champion Savannah “The Silent Assassin” Marshall (12-1, 10KO) claims to have activated the rematch clause to fight undisputed middleweight champion Claressa “T-Rex” Shields (13-0, 2KO) ). Although Marshall wants another showdown in the UK, Shields doubled down on the fight in the United States.

Marshall, sporting a new blonde hairstyle, took to the Sky Sports Soccer AM segment to announce the activation of the rematch clause. Also, she mentioned that the rematch was targeted in the UK at Newcastle at St James Park Stadium.

“I activated the rematch clause. . . I know Sky and Boxxer really want to fight at St. James Park this summer.

Of course, T-Rex always looks at things like a hawk, especially when it comes to her. She took to social media calling her rival delusional for believing the rematch will take place in the UK

Before fans start screaming and screaming that Shields is trying to avoid the rematch, let’s take a trip down memory lane. On October 15, Shields, in the post-fight interview after defeating Marshall, made it clear that a rematch had to take place in the United States.

Weeks later, when talk of the rematch resurfaced on social media, the three-time undisputed champion praised the fight but remained vigilant about the fight in the United States. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that Shields is adamant that Marshall is traveling.

Shields made an exception with Marshall saying she could send it and promised to hurt the former champion in the rematch.
