Catherine Zeta-Jones surprised fans when she showed off her daring new hairdo, but the reaction certainly wasn’t unanimous
Catherine Zeta Jones just answered an age-old question with her latest social media post while debuting an all-new look.

The actress has always been known for her jet black locks, which fall perfectly below her shoulders usually in waves, or more slicked back, as in her role for Wednesday.

However, for his latest project, national treasure, she definitely opted for the pivot, going all blonde instead.
It looked like Catherine was wearing a wig, quite stunning, which featured her in a shoulder-length blonde bob.

It featured dark roots that gave way to the sleek cut that framed her chiseled features, as she looked in character in a black top, white pants and coat. assorted.
“I’m calling you all to give you a whim! National Treasure: Edge of History premieres on Disney + this Wednesday the 14th!!!! Do blondes have more fun?” she wrote next to her post.

The look however split fans, with one saying, “Mmm…too much Kardashian with this look. I prefer the CZJ look,” while another was conflicted and wrote, “Love your hair but you are unrecognizable!!”
Many more were immediately smitten, with a third commenting, “Oh my god, you look gorgeous!” while a fourth added, “OMG…I love this hairstyle and hair color so much.”

The Oscar-winning star, however, wore her signature dark for press appearances, including when she dazzled at the national treasure first last week.
While her ensemble definitely helped matters, as she wore a sequined jumpsuit with sheer details and a plunging neckline, her date was probably her favorite part of the night.
The actress was joined by her son Dylan at the premiere
“We are on our way to the National Treasure: Edge of History first, with my special date,” she said in a video clip she shared, moving on to reveal it was none other than her 22-year-old son, Dylan Douglas.
“I’m on the edge of my seat,” he replied, and it was clear his mom was thrilled to have him there for her special night.
